Dr. Laura Heath is a Foot and Ankle surgeon practicing in Phoenix, Arizona. She specializes in the treatment of bone, soft tissue and skin disorders of the foot and ankle. Her emphasis includes minimally invasive foot surgery and rearfoot and ankle reconstruction. She is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in both forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of lowa. She continued her medical training at Des Moines University where she received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2012. She chose to move to Phoenix, Arizona for her three-year surgical residency working at the Phoenix VA Medical Center. She had extensive training in diabetic limb salvage, trauma, reconstruction and wound care. She continues to support the Phoenix VA residency program as an attending physician working closely with residents to further their education. She continues to learn through advanced training courses learning the newest techniques in podiatric surgery. Throughout her career she has participated in over fifty research trials.
